Sit back, take it cheesy and experience a taste of the Alps from the comfort of your local Heartwood Inn with our Après-Ski nights, taking place all day every Thursday from 15th February-21st March inclusive.
Whether it’s over a midweek natter with pals or a family get together partnered with some delicious dunkers from potatoes to cured meats, this isn’t one to miss. We have also partnered with our friends at Jubel to offer 6 beers for the price of 5 – what’s not to love so we hope to ski you there!
Now for the foodies – think you’ve seen the perfect fondue cheese pull? You’ve seen nothing yet! Do you twist, trail or tug it over your plate or maybe you mop it up with some crusty homemade bread? Our cheese-loving maestros in the kitchen have crafted a cheese spectacular that’s grate in every way. Live out your fondue dreams with this indulgent menu, yourself and a friend can enjoy not one, not two, but four cheeses in one – Beaufort, Tome de franche, Emméntal and Comté – melted to perfection. Pull up a chair, pull out your fork and let’s get pulling!
For those of you who joined us last year for our Après nights, we’ve shaken things up a bit. In the interest of keeping it cosy, the food will take the spotlight and there’s no need to pre-book. We’ve also added more cheesy choices for you to enjoy getting stuck into from the warmth of our pubs – Raclette, Fondue and Tartiflette, what’s not to love!
What’s on the menu?
- Creamy Gruyère cheese, soft new potatoes, salty bacon lardons, sweet onion confit & garlic infused cream served with homemade sliced baguette
Cheese Fondue (served for two people)
- The very best sharing course – our fondue is a mix of 4 cheeses – beaufort, tome de franche comte, emménthal & Raymond’s favourite, comte. Our fondue is mixed with kirsch & white wine served alongside a charcuterie selection, new potatoes, cornichons, fresh salad leaves with dijon mustard dressing and crispy diced croutons.
Cheese Raclette (served for one per person)
- Each guest is given their own raclette warming tray to gently melt their raclette and pour over a carefully selected charcuterie selection of new potatoes, cornichons, fresh salad leaves and warm sliced baguette
St Marcellin, truffle honey & accompaniments
- A stand out dessert course! Our baked St Marcellin cheese comes dressed in truffle honey & served with fresh warm sliced baguette, celery, apricots, fig & almond cake, and quince jelly
